Gerry Dolan is a Consultant Haematologist and Director of the St Thomas’ Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre in London, UK. He is the Clinical lead for the South London Haemophilia network.He was previously the head of Haemostasis & Thrombosis at Nottingham University Hospitals.
Dr Dolan is former Chairman of the United Kingdom Haemophilia Centre Doctors Organsiation (UKHCDO) , former President of the British Society for Haemostasis & Thrombosis and former Treasurer of EAHAD. He was Chair of the Clinical Reference Group for Specialised Haematology within NHS England.
He is currently Co Chair of the ADVANCE group which is primarily interested in the management of older individuals with haemophilia.
His interests include clinical trials of new therapeutic agents, gene therapy, outcomes measures and registries for Haemophilia, and the management of the older adults with bleeding disorders.
